(1) Brand New 2019 CMC (Italy) model CASTOR-C Paperboard and Rigid Box Joint Stripping-Out (‘Grooving’) machine with the following specifications and equipment:

  -Max. Board Format: 43 ¼” W x 43 ¼” L   /  Min. Board Format:  7” x 7” L  /  Thickness: 0.045”- 0.160”

-Speed: Variable Up to 100/min. Typical Production is 3000-5000/hr. /  Set-Up Time: (3-10) Minutes

-Materials: Various Paperboard Types such as Pasted Chipboard, etc.

  Equipment: Special Modifications to perform (4) V-Grooves and (4) Bottom of Groove Cuts. Fitted with:

- (4) V-Grooving Units equipped with V 90° Mono-block Knives (*Does Not include U-Groove Equipment)

- (4) CCO Corner Cutting-Out Blade Supports and with Cutting Piston Units (driven 2 + 2)

- Modified Software to allow multiple cuts on the same board 

- Variable-Speed Integrated Output Conveyor Belt 

-Includes Special Transport Belts for Cutting Boxes and an Adjustable Collection Hopper.

Electrical/ Utilities:  Operating on 220V (3-Wire) Only.  10 Amps.

Operations: Cuts V-Grooves AND CORNERS Out for Boxes. (4) Pneumatic Corners Cutting Out Devices with Electronic Controls for Timing/Position of Cutting in Two-Pass procedure.

V-Groove Unit is composed of: (1) V Blade of Specific Angle; (1) Support Structure that accepts other Angle V’s and is Interchangeable. * U-Groove Unit is composed of (1) Support Structure, (1) Pivot for Bearing, (2) Interchangeable Slitter Wheels, (1) Spacer of Specific Length and (1) Chisel Blade of Specific Width. To change the Width of the U-Groove cut, use same Wheels but different Spacer and Chisel Blade size.
